

Biography
Proscovia Nabbanja is the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Uganda National Oil Company. She has 19 years experience in the Oil and Gas industry. Prior to this appointment she has been charged with managing the company’s upstream business operations as the Chief Operating Officer – Upstream.
She also formerly served as a Principal Geologist in the Petroleum Exploration & Production Department under the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development where she led technical evaluation, estimation of the oil resources and reserves in the country, field operations monitoring and management of petroleum data.
She holds a BSc (Chemistry, Geology) – Makerere University, MSC Petroleum Geoscience – Imperial College of Science Technology and Medicine, MBA from the Imperial College Business School, London, Dip Petroleum Management and Operations and Dip in Intermational Petroleum Business.
