Mr. Nyombi, a Reservoir Geophysicist, holds a Master of Science degree in Petroleum Geophysics from the University of Leeds and a Master of Laws degree in Petroleum Law and Policy from the University of Dundee in the United Kingdom. Mr. Nyombi has over fifteen years’ experience in the oil and gas industry.  He has been part of the team that carried out geoscience data acquisition and interpretation in the Albertine Graben to promote the petroleum potential of Uganda. He led the team that drafted the new Model Production Sharing Agreement for Uganda and has participated in the formulation of the new legal and regulatory framework for the oil and gas sector in the country. He was License Manager for the Kingfisher Development Area, the first production license issued in the country, and has been involved in monitoring and regulating oil company operations.
